First day at work

What a way to start the first day - slept in, was having a fat day so I changed my outfits 5 times and still wasnt happy, car wouldn't start and at work the training environment that I was suppose to use for demostration wasn't ready. :(

my office for the next 2 days for training

The day did not start well, but 9 hours later it went by really quickly which is good coz I got to go home on time to celebrate my nephews 11th bday.

On the train ride home, I was worried that I wouldn't meet my daily new years resolution of being nice to someone. Lucky for me soneone had passed out, drumroll - my good deed for the day was waking him up. =D

So 1 down and 364 good deeds to go!!!

this was a boring post, nothing exciting hopefully tomorrow will be a little bit more exciting.

New Years Resolution for 2013

I am the worst when it comes to personal commitment and focus that Ive developed a bad habit of starting things and never seeing them to the end and Í absolutely hate myself for it.

I also have compulsive tendency to be a workacholic at my day job, which sees me being at the office for 10 hours a day, making me a anti-social hermit on the weekends coz all i want to do is stay at home and do nothing.

So to try, to change my habit i'm going to use this blog to document my struggles, failures and success (if any) in trying to complete something.

Here are my resolutions for 2013

1) Keeping a blog - Most crucial is maintaining this blog for the whole entire year, this blog will act as my motivation tool, as i will need to work on my resolutions and projects to have anything to post.

2) Mastering a new skill - whether it be cooking a dish, a party trick or learning to say thank you in 30 different languages

3) Get my photo taken in 5 places that I have never been to in my home town - I've been living in perth for more than half my life and there are so many places that I have never been to

4) Make a new friend a month - everyone needs a friend

5) Develop a good relationship with my body - by hitting the gym at least 3 times and eat healthy

6) Learn something that i have never learned as a child - I spent all my childhood in a small mining town up north of WA and there wasnt that many things to learn there.

7) Try a new food each week

8) Make the usual unusual by doing something differently each day or week.

9) Do something nice for others every day

10) Control my drinking or rather cut down on alcohol consumption - my drinking habits/behaviour has made my actions into legends with my circle of friends, that are told over and over again at dinner parties

11) Be happier, nicer, friendly, relax and laugh more - everytime i reflect on 2012 I cant help but feel that I was a stressed out bitch for most of the year.

12) Clean out and organise my wardrobe - i am the worse hoarder when it comes to clothes, I just cant seem to let anything to go =X

Its a long list but i have a year to do it, so fingers cross for me and see how far i get.

Stay tune to see if i succeed or fail again
